Kevin B. Miller, DMD, MS
Dr. Kevin Miller was raised in Spartanburg, SC. He attended Vanderbilt University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He completed his dental degree at the University of Kentucky where he graduated at the top of his class.
Dr. Miller continued his training at the University of Florida where he received his certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and Masters Degree in Oral Biology. During his final year of residency, he served as chief resident. Dr. Miller’s master’s thesis on Invisalign treatment impacts was chosen for publication in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, the leading international journal in the specialty of orthodontics. Dr. Miller is a board certified orthodontist.
Dr. Miller and his wife Emily live in Rock Hill with their two children. Outside of work, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his family, technology, golf, gardening, and all types of music, including country, pop, R & B, jazz and classical. He is proud to join an orthodontic practice that has been a staple in the York County area for over 30 years.
Spence Dixon, DMD, MSD
Dr. Spence Dixon is a South Carolina native who grew up in Orangeburg. He attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, where he was a Benjamin Wofford Scholar, President of the Kappa Alpha Order, and a member of the tennis team. Upon graduation, Spence moved to Charleston to attend the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. It was there that he met his wife Joy, who also graduated from MUSC College of Dentistry. Dr. Dixon graduated as valedictorian of his dental class.
After dental school, he was accepted into the Medical College of Virginia orthodontic residency program, widely considered one of the top programs in the nation. He received excellent orthodontic training and obtained his orthodontic certification and master’s degree. Dr. Dixon has extensive experience with difficult interdisciplinary cases as a former member of the VCU Craniofacial/Facial Reconstruction Team. His orthodontic training includes Invisalign certification and experience with all of the latest orthodontic technologies.
In his spare time, Dr. Dixon loves to travel, fish, play golf and tennis, and watch movies. However, these days there is nothing more he enjoys than spending time with his family. He is thrilled to join Miller Orthodontics and looks forward to becoming actively involved in the Rock Hill community.
